About

Marlene Schmidt is a PhD candidate specializing in the development of innovative drug delivery systems, focusing on the application of iron complexes in cancer therapy.

Her research projects involve the formulation of self-emulsifying drug delivery systems and lipid-based nanocarriers, which she evaluates in vitro using both cancerous and non-cancerous cell lines, as well as bacterial and fungal models.
