Luca is a doctoral candidate whose research focuses on the development of FRET-active nanosystems for the elucidation of formulation fate.
His current work investigates the uptake mechanisms of self-emulsifying drug delivery systems (SEDDS) as well as their distribution patterns.
His broader research interests encompass the design and optimization of nanostructured lipid carriers and solid lipid nanoparticles.
