About
Pharmacist Ilaria Cesi has a Master Degree in pharmacy from “La Sapienza” University of Rome. She is a PhD candidate at our group and Project Manager at ThioMatrix GmbH. Her research focuses on the rational design and mechanistic understanding of lipid-based drug delivery systems, with emphasis on reverse micelles for the oral delivery of proteins and peptides. She works on innovative non-invasive delivery platforms, supports formulation strategies and collaborates with academic and industrial partners. Her expertise integrates pharmaceutical science and applied research to improve drug bioavailability and therapeutic outcomes.
