About

Annabelle is a second-year PhD student whose research focuses on the development of innovative poly- and oligomers for applications in tissue engineering and 3D bioprinting. Her work particularly involves designing and tailoring hydrogels suited for bioprinting and investigating their rheological, mechanical, and adhesive properties to better understand their interaction with biological tissues. For other projects, she has also deepened her expertise in working with bacteria under BSL-2 conditions.

In addition to her research, Annabelle contributes to the group’s cell culture activities and manages the organization of the laboratory. She is responsible for maintaining and training users on key instruments such as the DLS, microplate reader, and microfluidic devices. She has further expanded her technical skills through the development of the group’s website, utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
