Alexandra Rieß is a PhD candidate at our group and Project Manager at ThioMatrix GmbH. Her research focuses on the development of innovative drug delivery systems concentrating on superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs). At ThioMatrix she’s responsible for the design and optimization of advanced drug delivery platforms and oversees formulation and translational development projects in collaboration with startups and global pharmaceutical partners.
